Durarara!

Genre: Drama
Score: Excellent
Rating: 15

The streets of Ikebukuro can be a strange place. Mikado moves there to go to school, and finds himself wrapped up in street gangs, secret societies, shady corporations, a string of knife attacks and urban rumours about a headless bike rider.

From the house that brought us Baccano comes something at least as awesome. Durarara! employs some of the same tricks as Baccano – particularly the wide group of characters with all sorts of strange connections between them. It doesn’t jump around in time the way Baccano does, nor it is as gruesomely violent, but it has plenty of mind-blowing revelations, outrageous action scenes and enjoyable characters.
